We are looking for an Electrical Inspector to undertake an initial 3 month contract (plus 6 month extension options) with one of our WA State Government clients.

Based SOR , and commencing mid-February 2025 , this senior role will require you to:
Undertake and coordinate compliance inspection of electrical; ITS infrastructure delivered to Client, the State Wide Electrical contract and Works by Others.
Develop and implement audit and inspection schedules to ensure assets are accepted in accordance with Client's standards that minimise risk of acceptance of sub-standard assets.
Develop and maintain standards and procedures for electrical and ITS audit report and inspection reports.
Provide technical support to Project/Contract Managers in the division and the regions to ensure delivery of electrical and ITS requirements as well as any contract specific requirements.
Improve workplace and public safety facilitating employee and subcontractor participation in electrical safety initiatives, training and compliance with safety requirements.
Required skills/experience:
Construction and maintenance of electrical control systems and intelligent transport systems.
Developing and implementing electrical compliance inspections schedules, audits and reporting.
Provide specialised technical advice to Project/Contracts Managers in the regions to ensure delivery of electrical and ITS requirements.
On offer:
38 hour working week (flexible hours) - occasional project based night shift & overtime rates paid.
$70 - $75 per hour (plus super) .
