The Company

Our client is a well-known civil contracting business that operates within the mining civils/services, regional roads, and NPI infrastructure space. With project awards progressing rapidly in the resource sector, they are currently looking to expand their project team with hands-on and driven Civil Project Engineers. We are currently looking for candidates at the Senior Project Engineer level with solid civil contracting experience – ideally Bulk Earthworks, Utilities/Trenching, Piping, Roads Construction, etc. You will be working in the delivery of large-scale earthworks/bulk earthworks and minor concrete packages for a major development project.

Skills and Experience:

Civil contracting experience as a Project Engineer working in the mining services and infrastructure space

Project and technical experience in the areas of earthworks/bulk earthworks, drainage, roads, rail, non-process infrastructure, etc.

Ability to provide strong technical advice & coordinate with other site & project engineers to deliver on the design and specifications

Oversee QA/QC/Quality reporting as well as assisting with cost and productivity reporting – ability to identify issues/risks that may occur

Oversee site activities associated with the efficient use of plant, equipment and materials

Work closely with the on-site supervisors to ensure prioritisation and productivity of their crews

Possess recognised Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering

Enjoy working in a collaborative and focused team environment
