We aim for 'better health services for the people of western Sydney and beyond' with core values of collaboration, openness, respect, and empowerment.What you'll be doingAs a Dental Officer you will be delivering quality oral health care across Western Sydney Local Health District, manage patient treatments, engage in health promotion and contribute to professional development.Key responsibilities include:Providing comprehensive oral health care, including examinations, treatment planning, and patient consent.Collaborating with senior clinicians and refer patients to specialists as needed.Engaging in oral health promotion and educate patients on maintaining good oral health.Maintaining detailed patient records and adhere to infection control policies.Participating in professional development, after-hours on-call service, and potential rural rotations.How to ApplyApply online by submitting your resume, one (1) page cover letter and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Essential Criteria:Registration: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Dentist.Selection Criteria:Provide specific examples of how you have demonstrated sound clinical and diagnostic skills in your current/previous roles.Provide an example of how you have effectively communicated with a diverse range of individuals in a clinical setting.
