See where your commitment could take you.Who are we looking for?We're looking for an ESG Senior Finance Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract to support the design, development and implementation of GHD's Sustainability reporting and analytics utilising core applications within the Finance function such as TM1, Apliqo UX and CDM. This role reports to the Finance Manager - Sustainability Reporting and will partner closely with the enterprise Sustainability team and Finance Analytics team.The ESG Senior Finance Analyst will liaise with key stakeholders to obtain requirements and feedback on new or proposed Enterprise solutions in relation to ESG reporting. This includes the identification, validation and documentation of data capture processes relating to environmental, people, operational, project or financial metrics to deliver internal and external reporting requirements.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Development and maintenance of GHD's financial analytics environment TM1 to support the delivery of ESG reporting requirements.Analysing both financial and non-financial data, including ESG metrics.Capture, analyse, and manage ESG data to ensure accurate reporting and informed decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG data into existing business processes, including onboarding new data sources and harmonizing data.Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability reporting projects, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Manage the documentation of policies and processes in relation to ESG data, tools and models, including provision of up-to-date documentation.Support development and implementation of external and internal sustainability reporting (e.g. quarterly board reports, tracking of sustainability targets progress).What would you bring to the team?Demonstrable interest in data and analytics tools with ability to learn quickly.Business / Accounting / Sustainability qualifications (i.e. Bachelor degree) or experience preferable.Demonstrated technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.Established communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.Strategic analysis, planning and problem-solving skills.Highly developed communications skills, both oral and written.Driven to continually identify opportunities to improve data quality via process improvements.Highly organised and able to deliver outcomes through determining priorities.Previous experience using TM1, Apliqo UX and/or CDM.Proficiency in analysing both financial and non-financial data, including ESG metrics.Understanding of ESG frameworks and reporting standards such as GHG Protocol, GRI, TFCD, and SASB is desirable.Interested?
