As part of the ANZ Group, when you apply to join Suncorp Bank, you'll be directed to ANZ systems and receive correspondence and notifications from ANZ as part of the recruitment process.About the RoleAs a Banking Consultant, you are to assess the financial needs of customers and provide options to meet those needs in pursuit of specific sales, service and connected customer targets including addressing customers' transactional banking needs.Role Type : Permanent, Flexible Part Time (30 hours / week, 5 days per week Mon-Fri)Note : All training required will be full timeWhat will your day look like?As a Banking Consultant, you will :Generate opportunities for deposits and home lending using the agreed sales process.Provide recommendations to the Branch Manager for initiatives to improve sales performance of the store.Assess customer needs through open and targeted communication with customers and recommend appropriate options using the agreed sales process.Provide accurate and timely service by processing over-the-counter transactions (deposits, withdrawals and transfers) in an efficient and accurate manner.Actively promote and support customers in the use of alternative electronic distribution methods for conducting day to day banking (e.g.
ATM, Phone Banking, Internet).Support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with Suncorp Bank's values.Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues related to your role responsibilities and adhere to Suncorp Bank's complaint resolution process.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following :Demonstrated experience in a retail customer sales & service environment.Analytical skills to develop solutions and recommend actions based on key issues.Attention to detail in accurately checking and processing tasks.Change Management skills to support the need for change.Commercial Acumen to implement strategies for profitable growth.Communication Skills to convey information coherently and confidently.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
