Alfred/Monash Shared Pathology Project The Department Alfred Health and Monash Health have established a formal partnership to deliver a Shared Pathology Service as one of three new pathology networks for metropolitan Melbourne.
This partnership is aligned with the Victorian Government's Pathology system reform.
The Pathology programs are working in partnership to ensure we meet the future demand and continue to provide high quality pathology services for the patients and community across the health services.
In the Partnership, pathology services are provided from two main laboratories (The Alfred in Prahran and Monash Medical Centre in Clayton), and six branch laboratories (Casey Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Sandringham Hospital, Victorian Heart Hospital and Wonthaggi Hospital).
In addition, there are 20 collection centres and rooms spread across South East Melbourne and South Gippsland, with the furthest one located in Yarram.
The Position Summary The Test Analyst reports to the Test Manager and will work very closely with various team members including the Test Coordinator, Business Analysts, Technical team, and SMEs to support the different testing activities across all phases.
The role involves quality and test advocacy and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.
The role requires a professional that has experience with pathology laboratory practices and test processes required to meet standards and assurance.
Skills and Qualifications Required Recognised tertiary qualifications in program/project management, information technology management, Medical Laboratory science or a related discipline and/or relevant experience A minimum of 5+ years' experience in Testing or Pathology Laboratory workflows Demonstrated test coordination skills and experience delivering test processes within a Pathology Laboratory Highly self-managing and able to set and work towards deadlines/milestones, including the ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight timeframes, to ensure outcomes are achieved Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills, particularly in reporting and public presentation, and the ability to communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict and affect resolution to achieve a win-win situation for individual or groups concerned Staff Benefits Generous salary packaging and novated leasing are available through Maxxia Onsite staff gym (Alfred Hospital) Modern onsite library facilities, exclusive to Alfred Health staff Access to health and well-being incentives Discounted health insurance Staff Car Parking (subject to availability) For further enquiries, please contact Catherine Kirby at .
