A03 Housing Officer Temporary Role QLD Government $48.12 + super per hour ASAP Start Inala Great opportunity to join this collaborative, close knit team in a Housing Service Centre where you will provide a broad range of applicant, tenancy and property management services and advice to customers with complex needs.
In this role, you will be conducting home visits attending customer's homes, to complete property inspections. The Role Manage property maintenance and conduct property inspections. Conduct home visits to properties and investigate and facilitate any tenancy disputes and complaints. Manage tenancy arrangements, allocations, changes of tenancy and vacancies and liaise with other housing providers ensuring departmental compliance Manage and monitor rent and maintenance arrears, rent assessments, payment arrangements, refunds and collections Maintain accurate customer and property records using the Microsoft Suite and internal IT systems with a high level of accuracy. Respond to customers face to face and via the telephone, undertake customer interviews, make referrals to support service agencies, assess new social housing and private housing assistance applications from customers. You The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with strong empathy and have previously worked in a customer facing role.
You will be able to demonstrate the following: Proven customer service experience (telephone and face to face) Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and confidence to quickly learn additional IT systems High attention to detail and able to work independently Excellent communication skills High confidentiality, empathy and resilience to deal with people in distress Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment A National Criminal History check will be required before placement Drivers License Apply To be considered for this position, please apply below with your CV and cover letter in Microsoft word format.
