Join VMCH as the Village Manager at the Providence Retirement Village in Bacchus MarshUse your outstanding customer service skills to support residents across the villageWork for a values-based organisation and enjoy excellent NFP salary packaging benefits About the roleThe Village Manager is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the village are effectively managed and that the lifestyle and hospitality needs of all residents are met.Some of the key duties and responsibilities include:Delivery of key services including care, cleaning, gardening, and maintenanceAssist with the apartment sale/resale processSupervision of village maintenance requirements including liaising with external contractorsMonitoring village income and expenditure in line with the annual operating and capital works budgets About youIdeally, you have completed a tertiary qualification in Business Administration and have knowledge of the Retirement Living industry.
Hospitality experience would also be highly regarded, as would experience in a sales role.…but, even if you chose d) None of the above, the following skills and attributes are really all you need to be successful in this role:Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staffA passion for providing outstanding customer serviceExperience in recognising, prioritising and actioning emergency or critical response to issues as they ariseWell-developed organisational skills with demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines while juggling competing prioritiesA high level of initiative and have a commonsense approach when solving problems or making decisionsWhy VMCH?Because the people we employ make it a great place to work
