Senior Backend Developer

The TV & Content Group is responsible for a key pillar of the Optus Strategic Plan; to excite our customers with a range of exclusive and non-exclusive content, delivered in an ever-increasing mobile and digital life where customer experience needs to be uncompromising. The entertainment strategy will see Optus move from traditional telco to the entertainment and content provider of choice in Australia as it differentiates against other telcos and content providers. A strong understanding of the global and local sports entertainment industry and markets along with a working understanding of navigating matrix organisations is essential to being successful in this role.
The Senior Backend Developer is a role within the TV & Content Product Development team. This group is responsible for the end-to-end product design and development of Optus's TV & Content Products and Solutions. This group works closely with other parts of the Optus Organisation and key partners to deliver and operate these products and solutions.
