Invest Blue has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Data Migration Specialist to join our team.
This role can work from any of our 31 locations or be work from home (If permanent work from home, there is an expectation that you will work from an office location on occasions).
In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, managing, and executing the transfer of data from one system to another, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and minimal disruption to business operations throughout the process.

About you: A motivated team player with great people skillsOutstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal with a high attention to detailExceptional ability to keep track of multiple tasks, prioritise, and deliver on set goalsThrives under pressure and maintains composure in challenging situationsDemonstrates a willingness to learn, adapt, and occasionally unlearn to embrace new ways of thinkingBrings fresh, innovative ideas to the table, contributing to continuous improvementValues and fosters a positive, collaborative team cultureRadiates a can-do attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solvingKey role responsibilities: Testing and validation: conduct pre-migration testing, ensure quality assurance post migration, and provide recommendations to a migration steering committeeProject leadership: develop and document data migration strategies, ensure data migration processes comply with company policy, legal standards and industry regulationsSolution design: provide recommendations on optimal architecture, collaborate with technical team on implementationData assessment and analysis: map data fields and apply necessary transformations to adapt data formats or structuresChange management: execute data extraction and migration with minimal disruption, support business units to ensure system adoptionData security: protect sensitive data by ensuring robust security measures during a migrationContinuous improvement: assess, recommend and implement enhancements through evaluation of the migration processDesired Skills and Experience 2-3 years' experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data transformation projectsProficiency in designing and implementing ETL processes, and experience with associated tools e.g.
Talend or similarExperience in Salesforce is criticalExperience in Financial Services (and/or Xplan) highly valuedExceptional communication and collaboration abilities to engage with diverse stakeholdersProficiency in SQL or similarExperience planning/managing/executing migrations at scaleExperience converting files/documents between formats (i.e.
binary to human readable)Familiarity with change management principles and techniquesQualifications Desirable but not mandatory - Tertiary qualifications in Information & Communication TechnologyStandard background checks include but are not excluded to criminal history, bankruptcy, ASIC.Remuneration package offered ranges between $110,000 to $150,000 inclusive of superannuation, dependent on level of education and experience.
