Tech Lead Scrum Master

The Tech Lead / Scrum Master will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) comprising Developers, Testers, And Systems Analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions in alignment with business objectives.
Combining technical expertise with Agile leadership, the Tech Lead / Scrum Master will be responsible for overseeing both the technical direction of the team and the successful implementation of Scrum practices.
In this hybrid role, the Tech Lead will provide technical guidance, ensure architectural integrity, and resolve technical challenges, while the Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove blockers, and foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
The role is pivotal in ensuring that the team operates efficiently, delivering high-quality products within agreed timeframes and maintaining alignment with business goals.
The individual will work closely with Product Owners, Stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of software solutions that meet both technical and functional requirements.
Key accountabilities As Technical Lead provide : Hands-on development expertise, guiding the team in best practices for coding, code reviews, and software design.
Provide overall leadership of the solution design, ensuring the technical direction supports both short-term and long-term goals that balance quality, performance and scalability.
As Scrum Master : Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles.
Collaborate with the product owner to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the team understands requirements and business priorities.
Lead and coordinate the work of developers, testers, and systems analysts to ensure the seamless delivery of software solutions.
Monitor team performance and ensure continuous improvement in velocity, quality, and collaboration through effective coaching and mentoring.
Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes transparency, trust, and accountability.
Act as the primary point of contact between the team and stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and reporting on project progress.
Drive the team's adherence to Agile methodologies, while also adapting processes to meet the team's unique needs and challenges.
Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of software solutions that meet technical and business requirements.
Ensure that all deliverables are thoroughly tested and meet high-quality standards before release.
Location of work: ACT, VIC, SA, QLD, NSW Length of contract: 8 months Contract Extensions: The maximum period of extension is 12 months (2 x 6 months) to be exercised at the sole discretion of our client Security Requirements: Due to the nature of this role, we require a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
