Tell me about this role: We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Fleet Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.
These roles will be Melbourne based and will play a critical part in delivering the latest in Land capability technology to our Defence Force.
Some of the projects include armoured fighting vehicles, soldier modernisation program, lifecycle management of in-service fleet, deployable health infrastructure and more.

What will I be doing day to day?Plan, lead and organise the work of the fleet management team.Maintain equipment management plans.Work with a wide range of stakeholders and build meaningful and lasting professional relationships.Manage timelines, budgets and deliverables.Provide expert advice and leadership across the team.Be the focal point of contact for the team including internal and external stakeholders.Work on a wide range of documentation including reports, support plans and user requirements.Supply chain and inventory management.Technical spares assessment.What sort of skills do I need?Experience within a government or Defence environment.Good knowledge of logistics and equipment management.Prior experience in Fleet Management or Fleet Planning and inventory management.Strong communication skills.Process orientated with good attention to detail.Australian citizenship and a minimum NV1 security clearance.What's in it for me?Flexibility: We like our employees to have the flexibility they need to live the lives they choose.
