Candidates must be Brisbane based, or willing to relocate. About the role: The Digital Production Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and implementing the digital and distribution systems that drive revenue for the Virgin Australia group.
This role ensures that commercial, customer, and compliance objectives are consistently met across key platforms.
Working closely with both internal teams and external partners, the Analyst will prioritize enhancements, manage issues, and resolve defects to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
This includes ensuring the smooth operation of core customer-facing applications and platforms such as websites, mobile apps, and booking engines, with a focus on maximizing revenue.
Additionally, the role is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of these systems, establishing processes and procedures to effectively manage issues and maintain seamless operation across all core digital platforms.
You'll be great for this role if you have: Bachelor's degree in IT, Digital or a related field, or equivalent experienceProven experience working in a commercial environment, with 2+ years of relevant experience in IT or DigitalStrong experience managing multiple products, with knowledge of project and system lifecyclesExpertise in software development lifecycle management for quality and efficient deliveryExcellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and present at the executive levelAbility to collaborate with stakeholders, align with strategic goals, and prioritize product roadmapsData-driven, analytical approach to business improvement, focused on teamwork and resultsProven ability to build strong relationships and ensure stakeholder satisfactionTeam player who works well with cross-functional stakeholdersProficient in analytics, IT systems, mobile platforms, and website technologies (including IBE)Desirable but not required: Business Analysis certification or formal trainingExperience in the airline industryProficiency with corporate booking engine toolsDemonstrated success in managing and optimizing digital platformsExperience in merchandising and retail strategiesStrong knowledge of airline fares and ticketing processesSolid understanding of digital marketing principles and strategiesWhat you'll get from us We're committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to):
