Smp Estimator

Job Description A permanent full-time role in Villawood, NSW for a well-established company specialising in the steel fabrication, installation and welding industry for over 35 years, for a SMP (Steel, Mechanical and Piping) Estimator to provide estimation and review contracts for various large projects across NSW.
Qualifications Required: - 5+ years experience in the SMP Estimation industry - Relevant Tertiary Qualification Daily Responsibilities Review project plans and specifications.
Develop and review estimates.
Convert enquiries into sales.
Negotiate project agreements.
Meet with project managers, engineers, and vendors.
Estimate costs using specialised software.
Negotiate rates with vendors and suppliers.
Review and update cost estimates.
Attend meetings with stakeholders.
Summarize progress and prepare for the next day.
Additional Requirements: - 5+ years experience in the SMP Estimation industry - Relevant Tertiary Qualification - Strong work history, detailing projects you have won and been involved with - Well-established industry networks and contacts throughout the plant construction or similar industry - A proven ability to develop business relationships with decision makers - Great written and communication skills Please call Tharindu on for more information.
