The RoleGNI is looking for experienced SHEQ Advisors to help with all aspects of SHEQ Operations in our Major Projects Division.
The successful candidates will need to be flexible to work on a 2:1 and 3:1 FIFO roster from Perth to support our Major Projects teams.
As a SHEQ Advisor, you will provide daily direction, instructions, guidance, and support on Overhead and underground Power Electrical Infrastructure Projects, including Substation projects.
The position is open to Mid-level or Senior-level SHEQ advisors.
The SHEQ Advisor will be responsible for: Conducting audits & inspectionsAssisting in creating, implementing, and closing out of audit action plansAssisting in the development of risk assessments (JHAs, CRAWs etc)Assisting in the delivery of SHEQ improvement programs & communicationsLeading incident investigationsCollecting, analysing, managing, and reporting on SHEQ data (MYOSH database)Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience Cert IV WHS/OHS or higher5+ years WHS/OHS experience3-5+ years' experience in a similar roleFirst Aid and CPR TrainingConstruction Safety Induction ('White Card')ICAM lead investigation trainingCurrent Driver's License - "C" ClassNational Police ClearanceStrong knowledge of WA WHS Legislation, Codes and StandardsHigh level communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work autonomously and in a team environmentDesirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience Drug & Alcohol testing qualificationsExperience in Civils & Power InfrastructureIMS Lead Auditor qualificationsMYOSH Software experienceOpen to travelThe BenefitsThe successful candidate will benefit from permanent employment, a competitive remuneration package, large pipeline of upcoming project work with potential to grow in the position, and access to our Employee Assistance Program.
