Showcase your strategic capability and lead a large team within the Delivery Services Branch to deliver eHealth Queensland's overall Business Analysis Practice.
This is a fixed-term temporary role located centrally in Fortitude Valley.
eHealth Queensland was established in response to the growing importance of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as part of the delivery of quality, safe and efficient healthcare.
eHealth Queensland is one of the largest ICT operations in the state.
The Delivery Services Branch is a trusted partner who works in partnership with the 16 Hospital and Health Services to implement digital solutions, new services, and technology that underpin and enhance health service delivery for the benefit of all Queenslanders.
This includes a 10-year commitment worth approximately $1.631 billion to improve ICT infrastructure, cyber security, and clinical care systems and applications.

The role:
This pivotal leadership role within the Delivery Services Branch is responsible for developing and implementing best practice Business Analysis capability across eHealth Queensland and Hospital and Health Services that enhances delivery excellence and achievement of outcomes on-time and on budget.
It provides strategic leadership, engaging diverse stakeholders and looks to integrate all business analysis services including people, processes, tools, frameworks, standards, and functions.
A key focus for the next 12 months is on implementation and embedding of relationships with industry and Queensland Health communities of practice to promote and share knowledge for the benefit of Queensland Health and other government agencies.
Are you right for this role?
To be successful in this role you will:
Demonstrated expertise in, and application of, appropriate business analysis frameworks, and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and tools, preferably aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Version 3.0 (BABOK).
(SFIA Skill: METL 5) Demonstrated experience in setting the direction for and leading business analysis activities on large scale, complex IM/ICT programs/projects, preferably in the health care industry.
(SFIA Skill: BUAN: Level 6) Demonstrated experience in setting the direction for and leading specialist services on large scale, complex IM/ICT programs/projects, preferably in the health care industry.
(SFIA Skill: ITMG 6) Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and external technology vendors in order to partner with them in delivering the required ICT outcomes (SFIA: RLMT 5) About Delivery Services Branch - eHealth Queensland:

Digital Solutions and Technology Digital Health and Business Solutions Delivery Support Services The core function of the branch is to ensure successful delivery of major IT projects and initiatives to our customers across Queensland Health for the benefit of all Queenslanders.
This function is critical to eHealth Queensland realizing its overall vision, which is to 'advance healthcare through digital innovation'.
