Who we are looking for As an Operation Manager, the ability to be strategic and positively influence others is a necessity to achieve success.
We are looking for an individual that strives for ongoing efficiency and is not afraid to participate in both internal and external departmental projects.
Why this role is important to us State Street Transfer Agency is a specialist team that provides our large client base with registry services, processing daily transactions received from investors, distributions, and completing Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) checks on investors to ensure full adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced transfer agency/registry professional experienced in Managed Investment Trust in the Australian market.
Knowledge of quoted managed funds and ETFs is desirable.
You will be responsible for the effective management of staff, management and point of escalations of clients as well as the execution of departmental strategy.
There is a level of accountability in this role for results in the areas of employee, strategy, cost, and expansion of the business.
What you will be responsible for Ability to drive operational efficiencies and strive for best in classFacilitate staff training & development, including conducting effective performance reviewsManagement of client relationships, both from strategic and BAU escalationsManagement of deliverables, ensuring all operational registry and reporting deliverables are met within the agreed SLAAbility to manage third party vendors (as required)What we value Strong understanding of Transfer Agency operations in the Australian marketKnowledge of fund accounting operational conceptsKnowledge of corporate actionsWorking knowledge/experience in HiTrustProven capability to manage a high performing teamStrong liaison skills, both internal and external across all levelsStrong understanding of AML/FATCA/CRS rules as well as RG97Knowledge of the quoted funds and ETF registry operations (highly regarded)Knowledge of investor services (highly regarded)About State Street What we do.
