THE ROLE
Due to extensive growth, we are currently seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to join our team on a FIFO 5:2 roster, working 90% on site and 10% Perth based, with occasional site coverage as required.
The successful candidate will primarily support the leadership team on-site to ensure that HSE functions are performed and managed in accordance with legislative requirements and Warrikal's policies and procedures by:
Coaching and mentoring of site teams in Warrikal and client safety programs.Support in the development of HSE management plans.Undertaking HSE duties to support the prevention of injuries.Maintaining and fostering an effective working environment.Implementing HSE initiatives.Facilitating site-based project inductions and awareness training.Coaching the development of qualitative risk assessments.Conducting workplace inspections.Supporting compliance with hazard and materials risk management.Communicating HSE expectations and requirements during pre-start and client meetings.Providing immediate support for incident investigations, hazard management, and follow-up on closeout actions. ABOUT YOU Minimum Cert IV HSE or Diploma in OHS.Construction White Card.Australian Work Rights.Current First Aid & Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - AdvantageousProven 2 years+ Experience in a similar capacity on site.Formal Incident Investigation Training (TapRoot, Essential Factors or ICAM).Demonstrated FIFO experience in the Mining and Resource Sector.Sound knowledge of Risk Management.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & ongoing Drug & Alcohol screens.
