As a Civil Designer or Draftsperson at Vital Design Solutions, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Working closely with senior designers and engineers to complete documentation and reporting.Consulting with clients, other industry professionals and the relevant authorities.Completing work assigned to you within the specified time frames.You will be required to draft/design elements within the Civil discipline with minimal guidance. These include, but are not limited to:Pavement design and spatial planningPedestrian and cycle path designCapacity analysisWaste management calculations, planning and assessmentCollection vehicle assessment and selectionTraffic guidance schemesTraffic control assessmentsSite GradingMinimum one year as a Civil Design Draftsperson in the ACT.A strong knowledge of Australian Standards, ACT regulations and associated procedures.Demonstrated proficiency in 2D AutoCAD.Ability to complete projects to a high standard.Personal Attributes:An enthusiastic individual looking to enhance their knowledge.Be able to work in a team environment to achieve a common goal.Ability to seek knowledge independently when necessary.Demonstrate a positive approach to complex situations.Demonstrates excellent attention to detail.To be negotiated depending on experienceIf you think you are the person we are looking for and want a challenging role, career opportunity, and a great work environment then please apply online using the link below.
