Then apply today to join one of our dynamic teams.Our teams deliver mining excellence, with uncompromising safety and environmental standards.WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive annual incomeGreat team cultureEven time roster of 7/7 and 12 or 12.5hr days/nights on offer to provide a balanced lifestyle.Opportunities for career development and growth.A commitment to a positive safety cultureFlights provided from Brisbane or BIBO options from Mackay and TownsvilleCamp accommodation and meals providedGENERAL REQUIREMENTSCandidates must hold a relevant trade certificatePost-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry essential.Alignment to our principles: Integrity, Accountability, Innovation & DeliverCurrent Standard 11, a current open drivers' licence and relevant coal mining certificationsWork safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management SystemAUTO ELECTRICIANS & FMS/IVOLVE TECHNICIANSABOUT THE ROLEAs an Auto Electrician:Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing and maintenance procedures.Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change outs to a high regard.Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.Provide high-quality installations including mountings, wiring and testing of equipment.As an FMS/Ivolve Technician:Develop, install, and commission various Wi-Fi, radio and wireless systems.Investigate and resolve faults, and carry out preventative maintenance routines on FMS and machine guidance systems fitted onto Excavators, Dozers, Drills, Trucks, Graders and Light Vehicles.Perform the servicing, repair, and maintenance of Fleet Monitoring Systems, Site telecommunications and Wi-Fi links & wireless networks.Respond to breakdowns on site FMS and autonomous equipment and networks.Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems.ROLE REQUIREMENTSCertificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent.Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry.Experience in general service, maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and proper diagnostics, Computer system JDE, OEM computer-based systems, Cat, Cummins, Hitachi and Liebherr.Experience with systems such as Ivolve, Mine 4 D, Terrain drill profiling data capture with GPS correction, Wenco and Carlson HPGS, DSS Fatigue monitoring, Hexagon Fatigue monitoring, Mi-Blast and/or Trailer mount remote camera systems would be highly regarded.ABOUT USTo find out more about our company, visit the following links:Our HistoryOur Vision, purpose, valuesOur ProjectsSustainabilityThis role is an opportunity to take the next step in your career.
