Primary DetailsLocation: Sydney or MelbourneType: 9 and 12 Month Fixed-Term ContractHybrid role: Full-time or 4 days a weekThe opportunityJoin our Leader Assist team as a People Consultant, acting as a trusted advisor supporting leaders in managing their teams and developing their people management capabilities.
You'll have the opportunity to develop and build on your HR generalist skills.Your new roleProviding guidance, advice and coaching to support leaders with their people management queries, enhancing their leadership skillsSupporting leaders with pragmatic, people-centric guidance on performance management casesManaging non-complex ER and health & wellbeing cases in partnership with leaders and the broader people teamContributing to the development of internal resources, templates and knowledge bank content; sharing knowledge and collaborating within the Leader Assist teamProviding administrative support on people projects and cyclical HR activities as neededBuilding relationships with key stakeholders to support the people and business agendaAbout youExperience in a HR advisory role, ideally within a large corporate or complex environmentDemonstrated experience supporting people leaders in managing performance, conduct and health & wellbeing casesThe ability to influence and advise leaders to achieve positive outcomesStrong verbal, written communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsThe ability to work at pace on a variety of complex HR matters, effectively prioritising competing prioritiesA continuous learning mindset, and openness to new ideas and ways of workingComfortable working as part of a collaborative team environmentAbout QBEWe are an international insurer building momentum towards becoming the most consistent and innovative risk partner.
