This role offers the opportunity to support the team in ensuring flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service whilst maintaining food safety.This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for food and beverage in Brisbane
A few of your responsibilities: Guarantee that food is prepared in accordance with menu specifications, presentation guidelines, and kitchen quality standardsPossess an in-depth understanding of the complete menu, including all knowledge of the base ingredients and their preparationSupervise and promote exceptional guest service and interactions with internal and external stakeholdersMaintain food costs and stock controlEnsure service is fast, fun, friendly, fresh and focusedWhat we will be looking for: Extensive culinary experience in a high-volume environmentA positive and proactive team-oriented mindset, with the capability to lead a diverse group of team membersProficient knowledge of food safety regulations and practicesSpecialist skills such as wok, pizzaiolo, and sushi etc.Possession of a trade certificate in Commercial CookeryAbout youYou will be experienced in high volume kitchen environments with sound knowledge across all sections.
This role requires comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and OH&S standards and ensuring your teams' sections are stocked and tidy.
Preparing mis-en-place and food orders as required by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef whilst following set recipes to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and consistent quality of product.
