Senior Clinical Psychologist - Research And Evaluation LeadPsychology, Counselling & Social Work (Healthcare & Medical)
Are you a passionate clinical psychologist with a strong research background? Are you looking to work in a role that fulfils your clinical and research goals? Lawson Clinical Psychology is seeking a highly motivated Senior Clinical Psychologist to lead our research and evaluation initiatives.
In this exciting position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mental health care through innovative research and evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities: Research Leadership: Identify, coordinate, and implement groundbreaking research projects.Data Analysis: Conduct rigorous data analysis and generate insightful reports.Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including universities, research institutes, and healthcare providers.Clinical Practice: Maintain a strong clinical practice, providing expert psychological care to clients.Mentorship: Guide and support junior staff in supervision, research methodologies and data analysis.What to Expect at Lawson's: Receive individual and group supervision from experienced board-approved supervisors to meet your AHPRA requirements.Engage in in-house professional development activities with a CPD allowance up to $1000 and one day leave.We work closely with you to find the hours and clients that best fit your preferences and strengths.Work with motivated clients committed to achieving their goals.Maintain a full-time manageable caseload of 20 to 25 clients per week (pro rata), with opportunities for research, training, and non-clinical activities.Take advantage of career development opportunities and a supportive team culture.Benefit from luxurious and welcoming clinics and therapy spaces.Receive full administrative support from our dedicated client relationship team.As a team, we are committed to working together to improve lives by: Providing evidence-based treatments to children, adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health disorders.Providing high-quality assessment and diagnosis services to our clients.Conducting clinically applied research designed to improve psychological treatments.Providing training and supervision in evidence-based psychological interventions to clinical psychologists at all developmental stages.Essential Qualifications: Masters of Clinical Psychology with Clinical Endorsement.PhD or research experience.Board Approved Supervisor.AHPRA and Medicare Registration.Current Professional Indemnity Insurance.Police and Working With Children Checks.To Apply: Please submit your CV and a cover letter addressing the key responsibilities and qualifications outlined above.
