We have an exciting position available in our Yarraville branch as a SafeCare Educator OzChild's Victorian Family Preservation and Reunification Response is an evidence-based response aimed at working collaboratively with the Children, Families, Communities and Disability Division to provide an immediate, intensive and sustained intervention which will provide better support and achieve real and measurable outcomes for vulnerable families.
The SafeCare Educator position sits within the Family Worx Team, to strengthen our impact with children, young people and their families.
This role has been developed to support families in the home with children from birth to 5 years who are at risk of child abuse and neglect.
This service provides the families with structured sessions using social learning principles for parent training around three focused content related modules, Parent Infant/Child interactions, Health and Safety.

As a SafeCare Educator you will be accountable for the daily operation of the program's performance .
Qualifications: An appropriate tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services Work or a related discipline is essential.
