Job Description Urgent requirement of Project Manager - Contract - Canberra Requirements Essential Criteria Must have knowledge and experience managing complex technical IT and data projects.
Proven experience in developing project documentation for infrastructure and software delivery projects including budget estimates and resource management across multiple projects.
Should have extensive experience managing change including release and deployment, risk identification and mitigation.
Exceptional stakeholder negotiation and management skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to a range of stakeholders and present at the executive level Highly developed written and administrative skills, with the ability to prepare papers, business cases and briefs with excellent attention to detail.
Organisational and analytical skills, including work prioritisation, dealing with competing requirements and workloads, and maintaining a customer focus.
Desirable Criteria Deliver and manage assigned IT projects by allocating resources, managing and monitoring detailed budgets, and coordinating procurement activities Draft change management and transition plans to ensure risks are mitigated during implementation.
Develop business and technical requirements, Request for Tender (RTF) and Statement of Requirement (SOR) documentation.
Department: Defence Housing Australia Estimated start date: Monday, 17 February 2025 Initial contract duration: 12 Months Extension term details: Up to an additional 24 months.
