Security Analyst (AO5) QSS Systems.
For this role, we will consider how well you:• Demonstrate well-developed cyber and information services knowledge and how that is applied to applications and infrastructure.• Demonstrated Australian Signals Directorate Cyber Security Essential 8 Framework knowledge and how it is successfully applied to business.
Demonstrated ability to consult, negotiate and influence clients, vendors, or teams and staff to achieve outcomes.Demonstrated personal drive, professionalism and probity when dealing with confidential and challenging issues.Demonstrate experience to implement cyber and information security controls, focusing on opportunities for improvement of data and system security, establishing clear implementation guidelines and timeframes.Some of your responsibilities as a Security Analyst will include:
Assisting in the implementation and ongoing support of Australian Signals Directorate Cyber Security Essential 8 Framework within QSS.Identify threats and vulnerabilities, investigating risks and issues relating to cyber and information services providing advice on mitigation strategies and leading associated reporting to management and key stakeholders.Investigate and remediate penetration test and vulnerability scan findings in collaboration with other areas with QSS.Maintain an understanding of the end-to-end connectivity of cyber and information services being provided and the security risks associated with that service.Build collaborative relationships with the vendors and QSS teams associated with the cyber and information services provided by your team and strive for mutually beneficial outcomes.Contribute and support innovation and improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.Actively promote a culture that supports and values staff.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
