This role is essential to maintaining the integrity of our general and subsidiary ledgers, advancing our Financial Management Information System, and providing timely, accurate financial management reports. You will also oversee cash flow management and foster a strong service-oriented approach for both internal and external clients. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to financial accuracy, apply now to become an integral part of our teamBenefits and OpportunitiesPositive and collaborative workplace culturePermanent contractAttractive remuneration packageAccess to salary packaging, including novated leasing24 weeks of paid parental leave (maternity/adoption)Up to 14 weeks paid parental leave (paternity/non-initial primary carer leave)Support for professional development and study opportunitiesKey ResponsibilitiesManage all CEO bank and loan accounts including analysis and follow up with schools.Upload bank statements and perform receipting to bank reconciliation.Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including accounts receivable, bank, accruals, inventory and loan accounts.Prepare month end journals and general ledger correction journals.Assist Financial Accountants as required.Review and understand ledger transactions and accounts.QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Accounting are desirable.Required experience working within a similar role.Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and Working with Children's Check (WWCC) registrations.Driver's License.Selection CriteriaTechOne experience in Accounts Receivable, Bank reconciliation, Accounts Payable and General Ledger.Strong Excel skills to sort, analyse and summarise data.Strong attention to detail and ownership of work.Appreciation of the importance of the confidential nature of finance information.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Other Eligibility CriteriaYou must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position.Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.Application ProcessApplicants must submit a cover letter addressing the Selection Criteria section with relevant examples and a current resume.
