You will work closely with our Finance team and Trade Partner Relationship Manager to maximise value from our supplier and partner agreements.
You will ensure compliance to our procurement systems and processes and ensure scalability of these systems in line with our growth.
What you'll do: Develop and implement strategies for a culture of efficient procurement and value generationEstablish and manage relationships with key suppliersEstablish Master Agreements with suppliers, consultants and service providersMaintain our preferred supplier database, terms and conditionsMonitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure consistent quality and reliabilityWork with our site teams to facilitate logistics and supply of goods and servicesEnsure compliance with relevant government & social procurement guidelinesAssess quotes and provide comparisons and recommendations for preferred supplier selectionIntroduce automation and AI capabilities into procurement processes to maximise efficienciesAbout you: Relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent industry experience5+ years' experience in procurementConstruction industry experience, preferably with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 companyProficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointProficiency in Jobpac – Viewpoint experience (desirable)Proven ability to communicate complex issues with clarity and easeConfidence and strong influence and negotiation skillsAble to work well autonomously and within a teamStrong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skillsHow you'll benefit: Investment in training with the aim to have the best trained workforce in the industryFree health assessments for all staffPaid parental leave for both primary and secondary care giversFast-tracked career development opportunities and support through mentoring, workshops and retreatsIndustry-leading internal communication channels to break down silos across sites, allowing staff to share ideas, lessons learnt and other resourcesKapitol values diversity and aims to build an inclusive environment that champions, embraces, and respects differences.
