Position: Senior Associate - Wills & Estates TeamWe are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Wills & Estates Team based primarily in our Headquarters in Parramatta.
The successful applicant will be able to hit the ground running having:
5-10 years' PQE gained in a highly regarded Wills & Estates practice or law firm;relevant experience across estate/succession, FPA and equity litigation;front-end exposure to drafting wills, testamentary trusts, enduring Powers of Attorney, grant applications and letters of administration;advise on estate planning, trust structures and family provision claims where appropriate;perform estate administration, including asset realisation through to distribution;ability to provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice to business partners, internal stakeholders and the like;proven capability of managing and supervising staff;ability to participate in and develop own business development activities with a view to helping grow the practice;strong advocacy and client management skills;ability to build strong relationships with clients through empathy and active listening;excellent communication and attention to detail;high level of organisation and prioritisation, initiative, proactivity and professionalism;ability to work independently and as part of a team; andstrong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.If you would like to work for a company that takes pride in its history, provides flexible working opportunities and is excited about your future, we encourage you to apply
