Moonee Ponds Kinder Haven is looking for an experienced Cook to join the team to produce high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 90 children each day.
This role is Full-Time, working 38 hours per week, 8.00am - 4.00pm (negotiable) About Us Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.
Our child care centre is located on Buckley Street in Essendon with great access to public transport and is 2 minutes' drive from Moonee Ponds Central.
There are lots of amazing local bakeries/cafes and shops on the strip with fantastic food options.
We have a fully equipped tea room for breaks, but you can also venture along Buckley Street.
We have a homey kitchen with commercial modifications and equipment to support efficiency.
You will be responsible for implementing a seasonal 4-week rotating menu with a variety of nutritional foods, both cold and hot for children.
We will support the cook to design menus that align with National nutritional standards.
You will be required to prepare 5 meals (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and late snack).
