We're looking for an Associate Director to lead an established business unit in our Higher Education (Tertiary & Independent Schools) sector at RP Infrastructure.
Working closely with the Victorian Director of Education and the National Executive Director of Education, this position is a key role in our strategic growth.
As an Associate Director, you'll be responsible for strengthening our existing client relationships, helping to identify opportunities for winning new work, and delivering a range of University, Independent Schools and/or TAFE construction projects.
Located in our Melbourne office, you'll be responsible for:
Delivering new build, redevelopment and refurbishment projects for Independent Schools and Tertiary clients – including business case preparation, design, procurement, contract management and construction responsibilities.Managing staff – you'll be responsible for the growth and development of your team.Making strategic recommendations to the Senior Leadership group about market trends and key opportunities for Business Development pursuits.Preparing bids in response to tender opportunities, helping to secure new work.Managing existing client relationships, providing outstanding levels of customer service to our project partners. Candidate Profile – Who Is This Role For?
This position could be suitable for you if you're:
An established Senior Project Manager, who's well-connected in the Independent Schools/Tertiary Education sectors.
Deep connectivity and relationships in these markets is essential.An ambitious Project Director, who's reached a ceiling in your current role and is ready to take the next steps in your career into a Leadership position.An established Associate Director in a client-side Consultancy or Advisory firm, who's looking for a path towards Directorship.
Regardless of your current level of seniority, to be successful in this role you'll also need:
Construction Project Management experience within the Independent Schools, Private Schools and/or Tertiary Education sectors.The ability to leverage your network and manage relationships within the Education sector to help identify new opportunities.A passion for leading and developing staff within your team.Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with stakeholders; as well as a customer-focused mindset.Qualifications in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
