Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting) Full time Roberts + Morrow is a progressive BRW top 50, multi-disciplinary accounting and professional services practice. THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a motivated Senior Bookkeeper to join our business. The Senior Bookkeeper role will be assisting both the Brisbane Business Services Team as well as our Business Advisory Team to provide optimal client service with the provision of quality, timely and cost-effective bookkeeping services.
SELECTION CRITERIA Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practicesExtensive experience with Xero & MYOBStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to prepare and lodge BAS (under our registered BAS Agent)Intermediate/Advanced use of ExcelComfortable navigating and interpreting various awardsAbility to build rapport with internal and external stakeholdersROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Managing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries accurately and efficientlyManaging clients' ATO compliance for IAS/BAS lodgements, STP, and superannuationReconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents in a timely mannerMaintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standardsCollaborating with internal teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data and resolving any discrepanciesBENEFITS We will provide you with a workplace that recognises your skills and experience.
