About the roleRod Pilon Transport is seeking experienced, reliable Local Drivers to join our team in Arndell Park, NSW.
As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods within the local area.
This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be home every night and earn similar money to linehaul.
What you'll be doing Safely operate commercial vehicles such as rigid trucks, semi-trailers and B-Doubles to transport goods and materialsLoad and unload vehicles as requiredMaintain accurate records of deliveries and transport documentationProvide excellent customer service to clientsComply with all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policiesPerform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsKeep the vehicle clean and well-maintainedWhat we're looking for Minimum 2 years' experience as a commercial vehicle driver in the local delivery or road transport industryValid Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) driver's licenceStrong knowledge of road rules, routes and safe driving practicesExcellent customer service skills and the ability to work independentlyPhysically fit and able to lift and manoeuvre heavy itemsReliable, punctual and committed to safetyWhat we offerAt Rod Pilon Transport, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
