What you'll do:
As a Senior Procurement Officer ICT, your role will be integral in leading the end-to-end procurement process.
Your excellent understanding of government policies will ensure compliance with statutory requirements throughout the process.
You will undertake sourcing activities for goods and services with varying levels of value, risk, and complexity.
Your analytical skills will be put to use as you conduct thorough internal demand and external supply market analysis.
You will also develop tender documentation while conducting various tender processes.
Your role extends to contract management activities where you'll plan, administer, report, and ensure the successful delivery of positive outcomes from contracts.
You'll establish and manage contracts through effective contract management practices.
Your organisational skills will shine as you manage multiple concurrent procurement projects to meet operational deadlines.
As a leader within the team, you'll supervise and mentor other procurement team members.

Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Undertake sourcing activities for goods and services with medium to high level of value, risk, and complexity.
Conduct thorough internal demand and external supply market analysis.
Develop tender documentation and conduct various tender processes.
Undertake contract management activities including planning, administration, reporting, and delivery of positive outcomes.
Establish and manage contracts through effective contract management.
Manage the integrity of procurement and contract management data and reporting systems.
Manage multiple concurrent procurement projects to meet operational deadlines.
Supervise and mentor other procurement team members.
What you bring:
As our ideal candidate for the Senior Procurement Officer ICT position, you bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in government procurement and contract management policies.
Your proven track record in managing procurement processes for goods and services, particularly in the ICT sector, will be invaluable.
You possess well-developed communication, negotiation, consultation, and collaboration skills that enable you to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Your conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities have been honed through delivering innovative and cost-effective procurement outcomes.
You are comfortable working independently as well as part of a multi-disciplined team.
Your ability to manage a significant volume of work in a dynamic environment is second to none.
Above all, your commitment to quality client service is evident in everything you do.
A sound understanding of the Queensland Information Technology Contracting (QITC) framework will be highly regarded.

High-level skills in government procurement and contract management policies.
Proven experience in government procurement processes for goods and services (ICT requirements).
Well-developed communication, negotiation, consultation, collaboration skills.
Conceptual, analytical, problem-solving skills delivering innovative cost-effective procurement outcomes.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplined team.
Capability in managing significant volume of work in a dynamic environment.
Strong commitment to quality client service.
Sound understanding of Queensland Information Technology Contracting (QITC) framework.
