The Role
Working from our Clarence Campus, the Teacher of Civil Construction will guide our learners to exceed their potential in the industry. We are looking for superstars who have experience in the diverse field of infrastructure building, such as roads, subdivisions, bridges, laying pipes, rail construction and mobile plant operation. Experience in temporary traffic management would also be a bonus You should also be acutely experienced in promoting a safe working environment, and a passion for keeping our communities protected
On any given day, you will:
Engage and inspire learners with industry training materials and lesson plans.
Promote Health and Safety practices in and out of the classroom.
Assess learners through their journey, and promote continuous improvement.
Hone learners' skills to ensure they shine in the classroom and industry.
Keep updated on the latest industry trends and technology.
What will you bring
Deliver engaging and effective instruction to students in various aspects of civil construction, such as methods, materials, tools, plant and equipment usage.
A passion for sharing knowledge and articulating complex industry jargon and concepts.
Provide hands-on training and guidance to help students develop practical skills relevant to civil construction.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
A minimum Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent.
A current Working with Vulnerable People registration is required, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
