Located in the Beef Capital of Australia, the JBS Rockhampton processing facility produces a range of pasture-fed and grain-fed beef products, from commodity to premium.
Our organic beef brand, Acres Organic, and Right to Roam, our verified grass-fed beef brand, is both packed exclusively at Rockhampton.
The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a current processing capacity of 700 head of beef cattle per day, operating 6 days a week.
About the Role JBS Rockhampton is currently recruiting an experienced Stockperson to join the team in a full-time capacity.
Reporting to the Head Stockman, this role will best suit someone who is passionate, motivated, and available to work Monday to Friday with additional overtime during weekends on a rotational basis.
The role incorporates various tasks associated with the receival, movement, and record keeping of cattle.
Your key responsibilities will include: Maintaining accurate records of stock movementsMaintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare, and Environmental obligationsMaintaining yards as requiredAbout You Ability to supply own horses, saddle, bridle, etc.
