This opportunity is open to applicants who demonstrate a willingness to grow their skillset, are reliable and punctual, have great communication skills, passion for working in the trade and work in a team environment. As the Workshop team lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our workshop and ensuring the work is carried out efficiently and with Quality as our main focus. You will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our workshop team in coordinating our work schedules which are setout in our scheduling department.Your Responsibilities:To lead the workshop team, with a hands-on approachTo ensure good communication with other departments for supply into workshop and out to delivery area is smoothTo review work volumes and ensure adequate staffing to complete tasksBe able to work on systems to review needs in and out of workshop areasTo ensure delivery of product is on time and of a high standardTo identify and implement training for staff, including problem solvingTo document and report quality issuesTo oversee maintenance of working areas for flow and efficiencyTo ensure completion of all paperwork relating to the completion of jobs, including timesheets, reports, and other required informationTo adhere to all WHS protocols and policies.Your Experience:Experience in a leadership roleIdeally trade experience in cabinet making or carpentryIdeally warehouse management systems experienceStrong organizational and multitasking skills.Running team meetingStrong problem-solving skillsOnly shortlisted applicants will be contacted for interviewsRemuneration will be based on skill level and is negotiable, Relocation assistance can also be provided for the right candidateTo apply, please send a cover letter that includes why you would like to be considered for a position with CCW, together with an up-to-date resume to Your application will include the following questions: Do you have professional cabinet making experience?
