Nepean Private Hospital is currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic experienced Cardiac Technologist to join our close-knit, friendly and hardworking Cath Lab team on a casual basis.

About us
Nepean Private Hospital is located in the multi-cultural Western Sydney City of Penrith.
The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics.
Nepean Private Hospital has ten Operating Theatres, one cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.

It is an exciting time for Nepean Private Hospital.
We are investing in our future with an exciting $38M redevelopment which will see our Hospital grow to meet the needs of our growing community with 4 new operating theatres, purpose built pre-admission area, new sterilising department, new foyer and retail space, new consulting suites, refurbished main entry and a new car park.
In addition, we have just purchased a new Pulsed RFA system to expand our complex Electrophysiology program.

As a Cardiac Technologist your responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with the Cath Lab team on Electrophysiology study, RFA and Pulsed/Cryo ablation, coronary angiograms, pacemakers, Echo, TOE and more Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs Act as a role model for Safe Practice Minimum Requirements:
Suitably qualified Cardiac Technologists with CEPIA or equivalent courses Minimum 3 years' clinical experience in Cath Lab with electrophysiology settings Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise and time manage.
