The client is seeking a dedicated, proactive and energetic team player to fill a full-time position for an experienced Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to coordinate the distribution of stock and ensure optimum stock levels are maintained at all times.
In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain by coordinating the distribution of stock, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting the car accessories division.
Your expertise will help My Car maintain a seamless flow of premium seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and other accessories to meet the needs of customers across Australia.
As a proactive and dedicated professional, you will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, managing inventory accuracy, and liaising with suppliers and internal teams to guarantee timely replenishment of stock.

Minimum Requirements: · Relevant bachelor degree or formal qualifications in Logistics and Inventory Management and at least two years of commercial or practical experience in the area of logistics and inventory management Key Accountabilities: Responsible for developing supply chain end to end planning competency with a focus on process thinking, people leadership and department management · Determine, implement and monitor purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans · Prepare and implement plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost · Ensure optimal supply timing, minimizing processing errors and preventing end-of-line delivery issues · Identify alternative of logistic & 3/4PL providers · Monitor distribution expenses on regular basis · Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements · Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels Manage supplier's relationship onboarding vendor process, contracts negotiation and certifications to meet quality requirements · Liaise with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation · Analyse and prepare stock reports i.e.
stock on hand, short expiry, slow movers, estimations of back in stock items · Customer Relationship Management with Logistics associates at Distributors and Freight forwarding agents · Lead stock review meetings and reviewing sales forecasts · Review and develop processes and procedures that will continually improve all supply and distribution functions and stock control at minimum cost · Create an environment of shared leadership, promote people strategies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives To be considered for this role you must have; · Ability to effectively manage supplies Ability to excel within a cross-functional team environment Ability to exhibit strong strategic thinking, initiative and leadership skills · Strategy setting and analytical skills · Confident with compliance issues, local legislation, company policies and procedures Excellent influencing and negotiation skills and ability to work multi-dimensionally in a complex business environment Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
