What's on offer?

We wish to complement our existing team with a Commercial Manager having a high level of commercial acumen in the construction sector for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business, Based in SA.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and well-credentialled Senior Contracts Administrator or Commercial Manager wanting to drive their career further.

In this role you'll be responsible for:
Managing, leading and developing the Commercial and Procurement functions within a large integrated delivery team, including working collaboratively with key customers.
Providing ongoing commercial support to project teams throughout contract/program delivery cycles.
Managing the preparation and/or defence of contractual claims and variations.
Proactively respond to changes in client and stakeholder needs and expectations and develop collaborative relationships formed on trust.
Design innovative commercial models that optimise outcomes while providing value add/continuous improvement to our client.
Mentoring and leading a team of Contract Administrators, finance and administrative personnel.
How you'll connect to the role:
A relevant Degree in law, commerce, quantity surveying, construction management, engineering or a related discipline.
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial models and activities in construction programs, as well as design and construct contracts.
Sound knowledge and practical experience in the application of commercial and contract law.
Ability to apply various techniques to seek constructive outcomes to contract negotiations, including the ability to influence others and defend commercial positions.
Experience with the JD Edwards financial application will be highly regarded.
Able to evaluate tender documents and estimates.
