Our culture permeates everything we do and this, in turn with a global vision, forms a commitment to each other, our customers, and shareholders alike.The RoleReporting line to the Global Payroll Manager, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for providing key support to the Global Payroll Manager in the end-to-end payroll function. This role will ensure the accurate, streamlined and efficient processing of payroll across all Megaport international entities.What You'll Be DoingAssist in preparation and processing of end-to-end fortnightly, monthly and off-cycle payroll for all Megaport employeesPrepare, reconcile and lodge superannuation and retirement funds ensuring compliance with state and regional legislation (i.e. 401(k) plans, UK pension)Review payroll tax and lodge returnsAssist with the management of the Workcover lodgements in each stateAssist with Auditors' requests globallyAssist with preparation of financial year-end paperworkAssist with internal and external payroll queries, escalating where appropriateMaintain and manage all employee leave queries, ensuring compliance with relevant leave policiesWork with the payroll manager to ensure we are payroll-compliant in all registered states and countriesInterpret and understand awards, employment agreements, and individual contracts for all markets where the Company employs (i.e. Modern Awards, Fair Labour Standards Act FLSA, etc.)Be the go-to person for systems guidance on Deputy, Trinet, ADP and other internal payroll and rostering toolsP&C support and ad-hoc projects as requiredWhat We Are Looking ForDemonstrated experience in global payroll in a fast-paced environmentStrong accuracy and attention to detailReliable and trustworthy, with a strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality in this sensitive roleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working in a challenging, dynamic environment; intellectually curious and excited about learning new thingsAptitude to learn and understand new software and applicationsAbility to execute processes and tasks with little supervisionProficient in Microsoft MS Word and ExcelExcellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skillsTroubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesExperience using ADP and Trinet payroll systems would be advantageousWhat We Offer· Competitive Compensation Packages· Flexible working environments· Birthday Leave· Generous study and training program + 5 days paid study leave· Additional Leave via Purchased Annual Leave Scheme· Health and Wellness ProgramIf you have any questions, please reach out to Megaport's Talent Acquisition Team at ******: All Megaport business correspondence is conducted via our business email accounts (@megaport.com).
