Souter Search is an established network with high-profile and well-loved brands and retailers globally.With over 25 years of experience in Buying and Category Management recruitment, we will work with you to ensure your next move is the right one, offering you the support and advice to ensure we tell your story beyond your resume.About YouExperience working with leading consumer brands in Australia or internationally in a Category Management, Trade Marketing, and/or Account Management capacity.Strong knowledge of pricing and promotional effectiveness.Exceptional analytical skills to derive data and present them alongside innovative and strategic solutions.Influencing, leadership, and negotiation skills with the ability to develop strong relationships cross-functionally.Experience developing and implementing market-leading category strategies with proven results.Commercial acumen and extensive financial knowledge.Strong understanding of trends and customer demographics.Experience in Food or General Merchandise required.Your responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing innovative Category Strategies with actionable plans such as new product development (NPD), Category reviews, customer deep dives, marketing, and digital plans.Leveraging data and insights to inform, develop, and execute range reviews that enhance the category strategy and in-store customer experience.Achieve revenue and sales growth targets while maintaining full accountability for the category's profit and loss.Manage vendor relationships regarding business plan objectives to maximize income and deals through competitive negotiations.Maximize sales through accurate promotional forecasts.Support suppliers with promotional slots in brochures and sales activation events.Are you interested in hearing more?Souter Search is here to provide you with the support you need to develop a fulfilling career.
