Kubernetes/ EKS Engineer FinXL IT Professional Services is currently looking for a Kubernetes/ EKS Engineer to work with our team for a large client based in Sydney.
- Initial 3 Months contract with possible extension
- Open to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane
- Daily rate contract
- ASAP Start
Skills and Experience: Experience working with EKS clusters and maintaining them.Strong experience with AWS and Public clouds.Strong scripting experience for EKS migration.EKS(AWS) & TKG(VMware) Cluster Administrator experience preferred.Container and Automation experience on-premise RedHat OpenShift clusters.Centralised management experience including timely upgrade of add-ons for Kubernetes clusters like kube-proxy, CNI, CoreDNS, kubedrainer, newrelic, fluentd, fluentbit, pinniped, etc.Self-managing EKS clusters through Jenkins pipelines customisable as per the requirements of each application team using CloudFormation templates and Jinja templating.Quarterly upgrade/patch of EKS clusters.Suggesting new practises and processes to secure Kubernetes clusters.Experience with Kube-bench to generate CIS EKS Security Benchmark Audit reports.Experience with OPA Gatekeeper for managing organisation policies on NBN EKS & TKG clusters.If you are someone with the following skills, please apply through the link below and we will get in touch with the suitable candidates.
