This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to transforming Qantas' Ground Support Equipment (GSE) fleet and enhancing operational efficiency.As a Purchasing Officer, you'll play a crucial role in delivering timely and compliant performance while managing relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers.
Your contributions will help drive continuous improvement across purchasing processes, ensuring long-term benefits for both Babcock and Qantas.In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting performance reviews, improving procedures, managing purchase orders, invoicing, and ensuring the timely receipt and delivery of goods.
You'll work closely with suppliers, ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the smooth operation of the business.
