You will work as a support worker to deliver safe, efficient care that is adapted to your client's needs.
Career Profile As needed, duties may include fostering independence and offering assistance with any of the following:
Support with personal care: bathing, getting dressed, and grooming. Help with household duties like meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and other chores. Travel and social interaction. Support at home for fostering health and happiness. Encourage Participants to achieve their NDIS goals. Support and companionship while enabling meaningful and purposeful daily activities. Aid in accessing community, social, and recreational activities. Support for behavioural and mental health. These qualities are crucial for this position: Be kind and courteous. Be respectful & encourage equality. Able to take accountability. Good communication abilities. Commitment to ensuring the dignity of people with disabilities. Minimum Requirements Driving Licence. Worker Screening Check for NDIS. Minimum one-year experience in a similar field. Police Check. Certified in First Aid (Preferred). Working with children check (MUST). Certificate of Completion for the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (can be obtained after receiving a job offer). Certificate of Vaccination for COVID-19. A positive mindset Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.50 – $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
