Reporting to the Head of Electrical Engineering, your role will be focused on carrying out electronics design and verification and validation activities, assisting in getting best-in-class products to market, which will require an attention to detail and the ability to follow and help shape testing protocols.
This role will provide insight into working in a fast-paced product development environment and contributing to the overall success of projects, in terms of quality, time, and cost.Key Responsibilities Include:Designing a functional circuit for prototype projects or Applied-TechnologyBuilding a functional circuit for prototype projects or Applied-Technology including soldering components on boardConducting verification and validation tests for PCBA and small electrical appliances according to specificationsDrafting testing plansWriting reportsConducting Failure Analysis for faulty appliances and PCBAMaintaining occupation, health, and safety protocolsSelecting components, constructing Bill of Materials, preparing technical documentation for electronic design such as schematics and layouts, and preparing quotations of PCBAWorking with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers (travel overseas may be needed)Conducting DFMEA, PFMEA, DFx, Engineering Statistical Analysis, Manufacturing Capability StudyWe're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:Degrees or higher in Electronic and Electrical DisciplineSome experience in the electronic and electrical industryKnowledge in board component applications and selection knowledge in electronic circuit design and fault analysisKnowledge in schematic and layout design using AltiumKnowledge in Arduino and/or software codingKnowledge in electronics, product manufacturing & product complianceKey Attributes:Must have exceptional attention to detail, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both autonomously and as a collaborative team memberProblem-solving skillsTime ManagementHighly motivated, adaptable, and proactiveDemonstrate knowledge and a strong willingness to learnWhat We Offer You:Flexible work arrangementsCompetitive compensation packageA fun and rewarding team environmentOpportunity to work for an Australian Stock Exchange listed companyEmployee assistance programPaid parental leave policyEmployee discounts of up to 50% on all our electrical productsCorporate health and wellness benefitsTo ApplyCome and make your mark with this global leader by applying today via the Apply Now button.Please note Breville Group will never ask applicants through email, phone, text message, or direct message on social media to provide identity documents, personal details, or financial information such as bank details.
