Located in the west of Melbourne, our teams work hard with a common goal of delivering food safety by efficiently and effectively resolving any arising problems, thinking outside the box to troubleshoot whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment in various applications, allowing you to expand your skillset on state-of-the-art technology. You will be hands-on and collaborate with a team of both Technicians and Operators to ensure the automated facilities and systems have maximum performance and availability.
Responsibilities will include:Preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems, which include working in both electrical and mechanical areasElectrical and mechanical fault finding, with troubleshooting on automated systems for equipment such as storage and retrieval cranes, shuttles, and buffer systemsAssisting the operation to ensure maximum system availabilityWorking towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving and initiating processes and supportResponding efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimise equipment downtimeCommunicating extensively with key stakeholders: Operations and Planning teamsEnsuring OHS, Environmental and Quality compliance to an uncompromising levelThe ideal candidate will have:A mechanical aptitude and industrial work experience of more than 3 yearsBe comfortable working some of the time in a cold store (-23 degrees) environmentWhile training will be provided on our WMS, computer competency is vitalExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPhysically fit and capable of working at heightsHigh motivation and enthusiasm4 on 4 off roster, rotating Day and Nights.
