Competitive Salary & Discretionary BonusesWestgold Resources is an innovative and progressive West Australian gold producer located in the Murchison and Southern Goldfields regions of WA.We are looking for people with passion and drive who want to advance their careers.With new mines, new equipment and a new energy across our business, there's never been a better time to join Westgold.About the opportunityWestgold are recruiting an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with previous Underground experience to review mine plans and provide geotechnical inputs to the planning schedule as well as provide advice to the business to ensure risks are communicated, managed and controlled.The successful candidate will provide day-to-day Geotechnical support for Big Bell as the mine gets deeper and exhibits more geotechnical challenges.Since commercial production was declared in FY22, the Big Bell mine has consistently produced above its designed capacity of 800-900ktpa. In FY23, Big Bell continued to expand, producing 1.13Mt of high-grade ore at 2.6g/t.In November 2023, the Board approved expansion of Big Bell to the zone beneath the existing sub level cave using an open stoping with paste fill mining method.
