You'll play a vital part in supporting the Financial Control team. As a key player in the end-to-end accounting and finance cycle of the accounting and periodic book close process for Levande's Corporate finance team ensuring that the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of Levande general ledger information and reports.
You will work on financial close, analysis and other Record to Report (R2R) tasks as assigned including driving future automation and documentation.
Your Impact: Prepare and/or review of month end tasks as assignedPosting and/or review of journals as assignedMaintain the accuracy and completeness of Levande Fixed Assets Register, both accounting & taxPerform analytics on the balances to identify key drivers for movements and to provide valuable insight for internal stakeholders and external investorsPreparation and/or review of GL reconciliations including peer reviewWorking on resolution of various legacy reconciliations and reporting issuesWorking with other relevant teams including Digital & Technology to drive successful automation of processesPreparation and review of audit requirements including responding to audit queries and liaising with external auditorsAssist the manager and the team in the planning and coordination of month end, quarterly and year end timetableWhy You'll Love This Role: Make a Tangible Impact: Directly contribute to improving residents' lives and community connections.Opportunity for Growth: Develop your career in a supportive environment.Be Part of a Dedicated Team: Collaborate with passionate colleagues committed to excellence.Enjoy Unique Benefits: Wellness programs, professional development opportunities, and more.What we love about you: Professionally qualified (CA/CPA) accountant with Australian certification. With a strong experience in month end close and financial accountingPrevious experience in Retirement living or Property sector highly desirableSignificant proven ability to produce run end to end month end processes from transactions recording to monthly variance analysis and reporting (R2R function)Experience with medium to large ERP system – ideally D365High level of proficiency of MS Excel, and other MS Office productsAbout us Levande is pioneering a new era of lifestyle living for the modern, independent individual.
