Crane Technician

About the RoleOur Internal Crane Group currently requires a Crane Technician to join the team.
Reporting to the Principal Crane Engineer, you will be required to carry out Periodic Third-Party Inspections (PTPIs) across Australia to assess the maintenance and repairs to the crane.
Responsibilities Include:Higher level crane inspectionDetailed report writing based on findings using Microsoft Word and ExcelDocumentation controlLiaising with customersEnsuring safety is paramountPartnering with the Principal Crane Engineer to complete safety investigationsWe are on the lookout for a safety and initiative-focused individual with a strong work ethic, eye for detail, and ability to problem-solve.
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualifications:Mechanical trade or Electrical trade with strong Mechanical aptitude (dual trade desirable)Crane experience/qualificationsSafety as a core valueStrong interpersonal and communication skillsUnderstanding of maintenance strategiesAbility to identify and implement improvement initiativesKey BenefitsBelow are some of our key central benefits that are available to InfraBuild employees.
